The same goes for banking services.

Today, many banks have created their online websites to pull in even more customers and provide them with their services right at the comfort of the customers’ homes. The Bank of America is an example of banks that provide log in online banking services to its clients.

From any state, the Bank of America will be able to provide you with their quality service provided that you have access to the internet. You can easily register with their online services through their tellers or through the computer. It is quite easy actually to register; simply input your ATM card number, PIN, the last four digits of your social security number and your email address, that’s it.

Once you have completed everything you can now go and log in online banking services. Remember though that when conducting online banking, it is most advisable to use a secured connection, perhaps your home computer or your laptop. Using a public computer can be dangerous and you can be prone to identity and credit theft or fraud. Upon arriving at the Bank of America log in page, type in your Online ID, which was given to you after registration, in the textbox under the “Enter Online ID” label, then select the state where your account was opened and finally, click the “Sign In” button.

When you get to the next page, the site will show you your personalized SiteKey, if you recognize that it is yours, you can then enter your passcode which you provided during registration. Take note that the passcode is not the same as the PIN and the SiteKey is a security measure that shows the site is the right Bank of America site.

After you’ve provided your passcode, you can now safely do your banking services online. By the way, don’t forget to click the log out after you’re done just to be on the safe side.
