My Discover Card has it all
Recently I was looking for a new credit card and I got torn between a few different choices. The odd part was, it wasn’t different companies. It was all Discover card, they just had so money choices.
First, there was the “Discover More” card. It had 5% cash back on purchases such as groceries, home improvement, gas, groceries, restaurants and many more. They also gave me 1% unlimited cash back bonus on all other purchases, and it came with 0% Apr for 6 months. I was surprised I card could include so much.
As soon as I went to click apply now I saw the “Discover Open road Card”. It caught my attention. You get a 5% cash back on gad and auto maintenance not just once, but for the first $100 every month. That would end up helping out a lot with these rising gas prices. It also had the 1% off everything else, so I would still be getting money back on my groceries. Like the other card it had 0% APR for the first six months. I was officially torn between the two and decided to see if there was another card I could choose instead of having to make the decision.
That’s when I found the “Discover More Miles” card. I could Earn unlimited miles on my purchases, travel with no restrictions and it had no annual fee. The best part to me though was I could pick my rewards. Of course, it also had the 0% APR. Seeing that card didn’t make my decision any easier.
The “Discover More” card was perfect because I have a large family and it gave cash back on everyday Items. The “Open Road Card” was perfect because we have four drivers in my household and it would help with the gas prices. The “Discover more miles” was perfect because my husband always had to go out of town for business and we loved taking vacations as a family. The decision wasn’t an easy one.
I ended up picking the “discover more card” because I decided it best suited my family. Now I use it when I go grocery shopping, and I even put our new wood floors on it. I also talked my husband into the “Discover More miles” card because if he had to spend all that money traveling he mine as well get something out of it.
When I was sending my oldest child away to school I looked on the site to see if they had anything I could get him in case of emergencies and I was the “Discover Student” card. It was perfect. He got cash back and he could track his spending online. It eased my mind to know he wouldn’t be starving anytime soon.
Recently I had to call the Discover Card Company because I misplaced my card and wanted to freeze my account until I found it. They were kind, understanding, quick and efficient in their work. That’s when I realized my Discover card has it all.
