Wellsfargo Banking

In the history of the American mail express and banking service, the name of Wells Fargo will most probably stand out in your mind. This is because since 1852, when Henry Wells and William Fargo started the Wells Fargo and Co, they have been at the forefront of financial services and mail services throughout the United States. Wellsfargo banking started mainly in the Los Angeles area and its first major bank was opened in 1905. After the earthquake and fire of 1906, the Wells Fargo Bank of Los Angeles was reopened and another bank in 1923 was opened in the downtown area. These were known as the “bankers’ banks” for the West.

Soon, Wellsfargo banking took to another level when it became a Northern California regional financial institution in 1960, and then in 1980’s became the 7th largest State-wide bank in America. This was also when Wells Fargo started its online banking service, which was a huge innovation for a bank of its time. Today, the Wells Fargo bank is synonymous with the historic stagecoach which made it so popular and to share its influential past with the rest of the United States has established 9 free history museums across America.

The Wells Fargo and Co name has been instrumental in providing America and indeed most of the world with the most important factors of the banking system as we know it today. These features include online banking, ATM machines, drive up tellers, over the phone banking, and many other things. If you want to use a bank that has a rich and diverse history in the financial field, along with a strong corporate governance and over 16 years of vision and values concepts that put their customers first, it is obvious that Wells Fargo is the right bank for you. The Wellsfargo banking services are varied and include home loans, investments, savings, insurance, retirements, merchant processing, anti fraud measures, international banking, and much more. Aside from offering these various banking options in the personal, small business, and corporate centers, Wells Fargo also offers financial education, community outreach programs and more.
